My self-reflection

Volunteering has positive impact on the society and also on you,  there are many organizations that opening they door for volunteers such as future center in UAE where I volunteered in.

Future Centre is a school for the special needs students and this school teaches the students and increases their skills and knowledge to help them in their future.

Before I went to the future center I was afraid to connect to the disabilities students because I had bad idea about disabilities people and I have story with one of my family when I was young. he was mental  disable when I got to his room I started talking with him, he started to hitting me. From that day I stopped to connect with any disabilities people.

However, after I volunteered in the Future Centre, In beginning I was really afraid even I told my group to change the organization but I told myself and encouraged myself and have a new experience about debilities people so, I decided to go there. When I went there and I communicate with them I felt like I am talking with normal people even they listening and talking better then some people. I am going there 2 times a weak in period of 5 weeks.

This experience has changed my thoughts about disables people , I though I wont have friend  or talk to the special  needs people  but after  I been through this period of volunteering , I met friends from future center   I don’t like to call them disable because I fell they are not.

I wont stop volunteering  I hope in coming days I volunteer more.

12 may 2014  my last day of volunteering  in the Future Center  from  8:30 to 10 

This day was my last day in the volunteering series in the volunteering center,We had the some classes as monday  morning class we had good time as usual , the students become very sad when I told them this is my last  day but i promised them I will come back in one day. 

  theses days moved very fast. I hope  that in some day I will go back and volunteering agin, because I learned a lot from this volunteering  experience.



I want to  think everybody who give me this opportunity.       

5 may 2014  my another day of volunteering  in the Future Center  from  8:30 to 10 



In this day i feel like i broke the bond between me  and the students. they tell me everything they do and they love  when I'm listening to them and communicate with them. I have that student who loves talking and he never stop talking, when we start doing something he forget this thing and he talking about other things, but he is an awesome student.In this day we have the some classes as every Monday PE then music after that we went to class to do some work.

I found some students prepering for going to the Yas hotel  to go and work in the  laundry of the hotel and they will get paid and they going twice or three times a week they were very happy and I was very happy too. 


   

30 April 2014  my another day of volunteering  in the Future Center  from 12 to 1





This day was short and fast day.I arrived there at 12:00 am. I found the students at the prayer room preparing and be ready to pray.we prayed and than we stayed for like 10 minutes to teach them the holy Qurran. After that we went to the class we had nothing to do so we were talking to together and I asked  them If you a lot of many what will you do? there are some students did not answer but there others did and one of the student said "This money will be for me and my family, I will buy new car and new house and I will bring a new wife to have children and I will make my own business". these students have ambition to be what they want and i wish them all the luck  all the support and I hope they never give up.

28 April 2014  my new day of volunteering  in the Future Center  from 8:30 to 10:00



This day was really special day because when I arrived at 8 :30 as usual I found my teacher in the future center to check us and see how is going with us. The teacher came to my class. the students were happy to see my teacher they welcomed us.we played football and every students want to show his skills in basket ball and football.Next,  we went to the music class and the teacher came with us and see how is the music class going. we played in different instruments and we had awesome time. The teacher left the class and he went to other volunteering student class.than we went to the third class. there teacher explained  to them how to know the different between the pictures and I helped some students. 

Thanks teacher for visiting us I hope you are satisfied and happy in what we  are doing. 

21 April 2014  my third day of volunteering  in the Future Center  from 8:30 to 10:00


 Monday, was the third day of my volunteering days. I arrived there at : 8:30 pm , I went to my class I saw the students some of them were absent. we had the same classes as the last week.we played football, we had challenge between students who is the greatest shooter in the class. the winner was  Mohammad he got 4 goals out 5.After that, we went to the music class and we had really fun time.Next, we went to the classroom to learn math and English. the students love learning and they want to learn a new things.
